Translational research for the scaling of digital health applications

Context

Scaling digital health apps requires a multi-faceted approach that includes stakeholder collaboration, regulatory compliance, integration with existing healthcare systems, customization and personalization, and continuous evaluation and improvement. By implementing these strategies, business models for digital health apps can be successfully established so that they have a significant impact on improving healthcare. In this context, we are looking for suitable candidates to work at the translational interface to design and develop strategies and business models for our web and mobile-based digital prevention platform.

Tasks

As part of your assistant role, you will be responsible for the design and development of selected aspects. In cooperation with experts, potential customers and all relevant stakeholders, concepts for medical device manufacturers in the German healthcare system must be developed and evaluated. We need support in the following areas, where everyone can contribute according to their strengths:

  • You will work with a team of experts on the implementation of strategic concepts (business models, marketing strategy etc.).
  • You will help with the implementation and evaluation of expert interviews, user surveys or user tests in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the concepts.
  • You will document the results in accordance with good scientific practice.

Prerequisites

  • Ability to think and work independently.
  • Good knowledge of German or English.
  • High level of self-motivation and commitment.
  • Basic knowledge of methods and tools for developing these artifacts or interest in learning them.
  • Interest in business development, especially in the field of digital health.
  • Own creative and innovative approaches within the project.
  • Familiarity with survey methods and tools such as limesurvey, google forms, etc.
  • Interest in cross-functional collaboration with experts from healthcare, technology and science.
  • Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented manner.
