Model-based approaches for the collection of patient reports (Patient Reported Outcome)
Context
The aim is to develop a digital platform that enables low-threshold access to individualized planning and monitoring of lifestyle factor treatments. Since the use of digital methods and mobile sensor technologies can be complicated for practitioners, the treatment process is to be supported by a model-based approach. In this context, we are looking for suitable candidates to contribute to the development of a model-based approach to capture individual patient-related outcomes to be integrated into a web- and mobile-based platform.
Tasks
As part of your assistantship, you will be responsible for the design and development of selected aspects. In order to support the treatment of risk factors such as lack of exercise, poor diet or sleeping habits, a suitable level of abstraction must be found in collaboration with experts to support the various process steps. During development, we need support in the following areas, in which people can contribute according to their strengths:
- You will work with a team of developers and experts to develop a user-friendly interface.
- You will implement requirements and sub-concepts with the Eclipse Modeling Framework and integrate them into an app and web-based platform.
- You will carry out user tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the application.
- You will document the design and development process in accordance with the relevant medical device development standards.
Prerequisites
- Ability to think and work independently.
- Good knowledge of German or English.
- High level of self-motivation and commitment.
- Knowledge of web, app or model-driven development (Flutter/Angular/Docker/Eclipse Modeling Framework etc.) or interest in learning these.
- Interest in model-driven topics such as process modeling etc.
- An idea of user experience design.
- Own creative and innovative approaches in the project.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD or interest in learning them.
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented manner.
