Computer Vision and AI-Powered Vital Signs Analytics for Healthcare Applications

Datenanalyse

Context

Our research area, Medical Information Technology (MIT), deals with various research projects around health and healthcare. As a student assistant, intern, or student writing your thesis, we offer you the opportunity to work with exciting bio signal data and use your technical skills to develop innovative solutions based on conventional AI and neural networks.

As part of our research, we use real-world sensor data collected anonymously from various vital sensors (such as ECG, blood pressure, and camera if applicable) to revolutionize the analysis of vital data using computer vision (CV). As part of our team, you can actively participate in your area of expertise, particularly in image processing and machine vision.

We offer you an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment and gain valuable experience in vital data analysis based on computer vision. If you are ready to contribute your skills to the future of IT research, we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks

  • You'll start with your research to keep up to date on the latest technologies in neural networks and vital signs analysis.
  • You'll analyse real-world data from outpatient exams to improve healthcare decision-making.
  • You design and implement algorithms to analyse bio signal data using conventional AI and neural networks.
  • You will collaborate on data analytics and bio signal data projects with our research team.

Requirements

  • You are studying electrical engineering or information technology (bachelor's or master's).
  • You are interested in the topic and (possibly) have first experiences with artificial intelligence and/or bio signal data.
  • You have good programming skills and experience with Python programming language and its tools.
  • You are motivated and have good communication skills.
  • You have good communication skills in English and/or German.
