Summary of the Dissertation
Adaptive scenario selection for simulative testing of perception functions in automated driving
The development of perception functions in automated driving requires an enormous amount of data. To cover this need, simulative tools can be used to generate synthetic image data.
The doctorate deals with the optimal use of these tools during the testing process of perception functions. This allows weak points in the functions to be efficiently detected and rectified, which represents an important contribution to the development of automated driving functions.
