Field trip - an exciting day at Getinge

The excursion started early in the morning by bus to Getinge AB's largest development site in Rastatt. The tour was organized as a cooperation between Prof. Eric Sax's team and Getinge Rastatt.

The listed Swedish company is a leader in the manufacture and sale of medical products and equipment for the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Among other things, state-of-the-art heart-lung machines and innovative operating tables are developed and produced in Rastatt.

After an impressive tour of the production and development departments, the students had lunch together, where they had the opportunity to talk to other employees. In the afternoon, they returned to ITIV with many new impressions.
