As part of the orientation phase for the Bachelor's degree courses in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Medical Technology, the new students had the opportunity to experience the IPQ and ITIV institutes up close. After a warm welcome by Dr. Jens Becker at ITIV, impressive demonstrations of the projects "Open6G Hub", "KIHT - Kaligo-based Intelligent Handwriting Teacher" and "ZuSE-KI-mobil" were presented. A cozy get-together with coffee and pretzels with DT practice leader Annina Gutermann afterwards offered the perfect opportunity to clarify all open questions about studying and make initial contacts.

The orientation phase (O-Phase for short), organized by the student council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (ETIT) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), is a colorful mix of information events, get-to-know-you activities and fun events. The student council represents all students of the faculty's electrical engineering, medical engineering and mechatronics courses.

This year's tour of the institute was once again a complete success and was enthusiastically received by the students.
