Academic exchange between ITIV and HIT
At the beginning of October, Professor Wilhelm Stork from the Institute of Information Processing Technology (ITIV) welcomed four renowned female scientists from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) to an academic exchange seminar. The HIT is one of the leading technical universities in China with a wide range of research focuses.
The guests included:
- Xue LI: Director of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dean of the School of International Studies
- Song WANG: Deputy Dean of the School of International Studies
- Jianxia WANG: Lecturer at the School of International Studies
- Sai TANG: Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Prof. Stork took the opportunity to introduce the ITIV and the Research Center for Information Technology (FZI). Various opportunities for collaboration were discussed, including online lectures, student exchange programs and joint research projects. Both institutes attach great importance to interdisciplinary research and international cooperation and are already looking forward to the next exchange.
This meeting underlines the importance of international academic networks and the benefits that can result from such collaborations.
